South Asian University
South Asian University is International University which is develops by South Asian Association for Regional Corporation (SAARC). South Asian University was established under the private university act of 1992 with a view of, to the improving human resources. South Asian University will begin its first Academic session from August 1992 with 50 students. University took eight members from different states of South Asian Association for Regional Corporation (SAARC). The Eight States are as follows: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Pakistan.
The Indian prime ministers Dr. Manmohan Singh at 13th SAARC submit in Dhaka in November 2005 propose the establishment for the vision of World class South Asian University. The SAARC members deside that the University would be also established in India. In India the First academic session of the South Asian University was started in August 2010 with post graduate academic program of Economics and Computer Science and more than this post graduate programs are expected to commence from July 2011.
The missions of South Asian University is expand the scope of local human by improving them and explore the employment market to meet the demand for the skilled professionals. South Asian University is dedicated its excellence in education. South Asian University will lead the way with its career focus and quality teaching and innovative research.
South Asian University strives each day to come up with a new ideas for provide good option for the students. In South Asian University HEC are now four year bachelor programs. That’s why instead of studying courses students also exposed more than 40 courses. These systems are nearly equal as American University where students do study and work simultaneously. South Asian University gives practical training to student and for export their work in international markets they establish a software house to students.
