Sir Padampat Singhania University is kwon as SPSU is located in Udaipur, India. The university is incepted in 2008 the first batch of this university will graduate in 2011. This is a private residential university of Rajasthan. In 2005 JK cement Nimbahera Foundation presumed the creation of world Class University. Sir Padampat Singhania School of engineering was formed in 2007. In 2008 the 1st batch of engineering students were admitted to B. Tech course. In 13-4-2009 the university is empowered to award degree specified by the UGC.
The university campus is near from Udaipur 30 kilometer east and it covers 100 acres of campus. The university building is colored with white and yellow which reflecting university color. The university offers various services to staff and students. They give wireless connectivity with high speed to whole campus, ATM laundry, 24 hours medical facility, cafeterias and hairdressing, full meals are provided to student and staff. They also provide regular bus service from Udaipur to campus. They provide water facility to whole campus. They also provide separate Hostel for girls and boys and modern library which open for 12 hours. SPSU is conducting the first placement for the graduating student in 2011. The placement office provides facilities like corporate, seminar training workshop and pre placement talks. They take grooming for student such as interview, fairs and group discussions etc.
The university has the two departments of school of Management and school of Engineering. They offer various graduate and undergraduate programs in engineering streams. B. Tech has following streams of engineering: Mechanical Engineering, Civil engineering, Electronics and communication engineering, Biotechnology and computer science and engineering. Ph.D. courses in following streams: Mechanical Engineering, Civil engineering, Electronics and communication engineering, Biotechnology and computer science and engineering. The school of engineering offers International master degree program and course duration is five years. School of management has MBA and Ph.D. in following stream: Information technology, Finance, Marketing, Human resources.
