The Syllabus approved by the Commission for the screening test to be held on 03-04-2011 and 09-04-2011 respectively for the post of Ayurvedic Medical Officer, Medical Officer (General Wing) and Medical Officer(Dental) is as under :-
Ayurvedic Medical Officer
Questions covering the syllabus of Bachelor Degree in Ayurveda : 80 Marks
Questions of General Knowledge (including that of Himachal Pradesh) : 20 Marks
Medical Officer (General Wing)
Questions covering the syllabus of MBBS Degree : 80 Marks
Questions of General Knowledge (including that of Himachal Pradesh) : 20 Marks
Medical Officer (Dental)
Question covering the syllabus of Bachelor Degree in Dental Surgery : 70 Marks
Question of General Knowledge (including that of Himachal Pradesh) : 30 Marks
The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has been established under Article 315 of the Constitution of India. The Commission consists of a Chairman and three Members. The terms and conditions of service of Chairman and Members of the Commission are being governed under the State Public Service Commission (MEMBER) Regulations, 1971.
