Eligibility:
The candidates possessing the qualification of +2(12years of Schooling) with 45% marks are eligible. For those who have participated in State and National level Sports events, the minimum percentage of marks in +2 should be 40% Age 17-25 years OC/BC/MBC 17-30 years for SC/ST/ Widow/ Orphan / Deserted Women.
Request for application: Application for the Programs, given below, is invited from the intending learners. Applications can be obtained from the Registrar, Alagappa University, Karaikudi - 630 003 on payment of the cost of the application, as applicable, through a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of, ‘The Registrar, Alagappa University, payable at Karaikudi’ as follows:
i. MBA/MCA programs: Rs.500.
For SC/ST candidates Rs. 250/ - on production of attested Community Certificate copy)
ii. All other Programs: Rs.300
For SC/ST candidates Rs. 150/ - on production of attested Community Certificate copy)
Applications can be had in person or through post. For postal mode, the requisition letter and course of study with applicable demand draft must be accompanied by Rs 25/- stamped self-addressed cover for Registered post or Rs. 10 for ordinary post.
Submission of Application: The candidates should submit the filled in application form along with Rs.10/- stamped, Self Addressed envelope, to the Registrar, Alagappa University, Karaikudi during the office hours 10am -5.45 pm or by post before the stipulated date..

Alagappa University was brought into existence by a Special Act of the Government of Tamil Nadu in May 1985 with the objective of fostering research, development and dissemination of knowledge in various branches of learning. Alagappa University is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. The University has 18 Departments, 5 Centres and 2 Constituent Colleges on its campus. 28 Affiliated Colleges located in the districts of Sivaganga and Ramanathapuram are part of the University.
